Aiuken Cybersecurity has taken a fundamental step in its development and growth strategy for the coming years. And it has struck a deal with Trill Impact, the private equity fund backed by Nordea Asset Management, one of the Nordic countries’ largest asset managers, whereby the fund acquires the entire company.
The goal of this operation is twofold. On the one hand, Aiuken joins the European cybersecurity giant Alurity, which is creating Trill Impact and which is destined to compete on equal terms with Chinese or US companies.
Trill Impact is forming a powerful European cybersecurity group. In recent months, it has bought four other companies besides Aiuken. These are the Swedish companies Arctic Group, ID North and Pulsen IAM, and the Danish CSIS Security Group. Allurity comes at a time especially marked by multiple threats, many of them sponsored even by countries as seen after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
And on the other hand, Aiuken is recapitalized and gains muscle to be able to opt with solid guarantees to the contracts or grant programs that the different administrations take out at national, European or world level. And it can do so under the umbrella of Allurity, whose board of directors has already joined Juan Miguel Velasco, the CEO of Aiken Cybersecurity.
Since the beginning of its career a decade ago, Aiuken has been recognized as one of the references of cybersecurity services, present in countries such as Spain, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Chile, Côte d’Ivoire and Puerto Rico. It has always worked for large customers and has its own technology that supports other services recognized by prestigious industry publications such as Gartner. In addition, its growth has been noticeable. In the last year alone, the business has increased by 30% and the number of employees by 10%.
The landing of Allurity will allow us to face with more guarantees the digital transition that society is experiencing, especially with the arrival of IP connectivity and 5G, technologies that will transform the world. Hence Alurity’s intention to lead the cybersecurity ecosystem on the European continent.
